Eons ago, the world was basked in light and health. Humans lived in a mutual understanding of their wild brothers the were-creatures. Yet some of the humans were not so kind as they let on to their nation. They set out to make a weapon to kill the were-beasts for they were jealous of their innate powers. They succeeded in a weapon over time, yet it had fallen into the hands of a madman who in the end had cursed the human race with his greed for the power of the were creatures. They were imbedded with the traits of spiders... silk, grace, and venom. No longer a normal human alive these arachnid humanoids were enchanting beyond belief and all hungered for a feast- finding it in the animals and beasts they enchanted with their beautiful faces and crystal voices. The other were-creatures had fallen into the spider's webs, even the wolves were no exception. However, being pack based they realized the losses before the solitary animals had and became untrusting of the beautiful hunters. They disappeared into their secret places to band together and find ways to combat the glorious foes- the strength coming from their numbers and their forgotten were-powers. No, on their own the arachnids were far greater in strength but as a unit the pack could force the spiders back into their old cities and reclaim the wild for the wolves. Now the packs must decide if they want to hold the spiders back and never venture out of their boarders, or become the spear head for a retaliation and destroy the spider nest and never deal with the monstrosities again. And that my friend is where you come in...
For it was always the fate of individuals to change the world...

For better.

Bordering the Celebratory hall this elaborate garden was created on one of the early queen's whims. It is filled with stolen flowers and plants from raids on the wolves' grounds. Yet it is also filled with plant life of their own creation. Strange and beautiful much like the spiders them selves these plants are the spider's treasures in their haunted city. Small areas for group gatherings are fitted in between some of the strange fruit trees and alien flora that grow up on stocks of neon pink with plastic like petals and candy like scents. It would be enough to put a wolf into scenery shock.

[ ]Ghost Buildings

These buildings were once part of a rather ritzy group of homes. Being vacant for sometime, the spiders have returned to claim what they will and have found homes in rather good condition considering the many years of neglect they have had. The apartments and mansions are now one of the most elegant places in the city.

The Colosseum like hall is styled in a Roman like fashion. The long granite table in the center of the room feeds into the chilling feeling that this is a place that plots the ending of lives. very few are allowed up here. Mostly just the Knights, and above but a few young spider-lings have managed to sneak in once or twice in the past.

[ ]Celebratory Hall

This large dome made out of remainders of the surrounding buildings is placed in the center of the city. Its hundreds of feet around, and so tall that one can almost imaging a small storm brewing among the scattered web or hundred that are spun in a decorated fashion. it is truly one of the most beautiful building ever constructed out of man-made matter.

It lookes like a set out of a horror movie. Like most of the city this creepy building had been disregarded until the wolves had rebelled against the hunters. Now it serves as its original purpose once again. No matter how clean the building looks, or how beautiful the people who work behind the desk look. the stench of blood and death permeate threw the very walls. Its a wonder that they still even use it for birthing mothers.

After a spider child is born, it spends one season with its mother, then is sent away to the training grounds for a spartan like education. the teachers are cruel, the lessons are hard, but the results create hardened fighters.

From here one can see the last bridge peek over the outer walls. This could be considered the ghetto of the city. The Spider underlings usually consider these broken down old homes and warehouses as their nests. It is a dirty part of the city and one you would not expect to see the higher ups ever strolling down the street. Though a knight or so sometimes passes through to knock some scene into some of the more disreputable underlings living in this mostly forgotten hovel.

This is one of the few places that the war has yet to taint. It is a long stretch of beach followed by a cold and violent sea of steel grey. Gulls caw, and dance on the wind and a few whales can be seen breaching the chaotic surface of this gateway to the ocean.

[ ]Last bridge of Humanity

Once a large gem of indignity for the extinct race of humans, this rusty hunk of metal spans across the the river that comes off of Watchers Falls. It has been fortified with spider webs as a sort of atonement for their arachnid ancestors and is still usable even after the hundreds of years.

[ ]Catacombs under the Spider City

Forgotten in the rubble in some sort of battle that no-one remembers about a part of the city was built over and left underground. New passage ways and buildings are being opened up by the way that the earth is shifting. Few remember the name of this underground city, and even fewer know how to find it. But for those that do, it could work very very well in their favor should they want to sneak in or out of the city un-noticed.

Skirting the cities of webs and grander, this once fruitful suburbia and farm land is no more. Constant warfare has decimated the land and blood has poisoned the ground so not even the toughest weed will grow in this sandy loam. Winds sometimes get so strong that it can clear blow anything foolish enough to stand alone clear across the country. Not to mention that with out anything to help resist the constant windstorms- weather often turns deadly very quickly.

some of the first wolves set up this monolithic rock wall as a warning to the humans not to try and trespass into wild territory. At first it was meant to keep the wolves out of the humans grasp, but now it has a greater purpose: A testiment to the wolves' strength to hold back the spiders from their woods.

Wolves with no pack to call their own come to this small and foggy thicket in hopes that a pack may accept them and take them into their protection. The drawback of this area is that you must go with the first pack leader that comes across you. Pray you find a merciful alpha.

A mix of a grassy valley and a new growth forest this area once was thick with prey. No more. You are lucky to see a family of rabbits or a boar snuffling for truffles here.

Spared from the clear cutting of the spiders, this is one of the last untouched old growth forests left on this side of einmana. It is filled with trees from the human age, not the neo-mutated plant life that spiders have grown so fond of, and there for it is considered one of the most holy places for the wolves. During the different faces of the moon goddesses, most wolves will come here to celebrate with a large bonfire and a feast.

A large mountain range encircles the wolf territory far from the cities of webs. These stone Goliath's have many secret exist and entrances that only the oldest inhabitants or those with an adventure's heart have found. Currently there is a special team dedicated just to find these secret routs if only so the wolves may use them as a tactical retreat if need be.

However, its greatest known value to the wolves is the many vast caverns about the size of a football stadium with honey combed halls branching off for dens. Some legends say that before humans became so anti-myth that dwarves may have carved the very stone the way it is, but erosion has erased any trace to prove or disprove this myth.

[ ]Watcher Falls

Snow from the top of the range pools together in natural rivers and streams, all leading to a colossus water fall, that claims the lives of those that accidently get swept away in its fleeing current. Some of the water flows directly threw the mountain it self- internal rivers that some times flood unfortunate dens that have made their home too close. Yet however deadly this river of life may be, it is a beautiful and intimidating sight.
