Read the rules! Thats the most important thing to do when you join into any roleplay. A good second step wold to be go and read the wolf/spider 101 pages, just to get a feel for the different options of characters you can choose from. These will help you deside what specie you would like to choose. Both are very different from one another, and if you don't know about wha your playing your character may come out all wonky- in a bad way. (i'll be the first to admit that i love characters that are out of the ordinary, so wonky in a good way will make me happy.)

Ok, so you have an idea about what kind of character you want to be? Whats that, you read everything on the laws of the land page just to make me all stary eyed! No way!

Well since you did all that, I guess I can tell you what to do next...
Register your character on proboards. See that little silver card-like button below the main picture? Click that and it will ask for a few things like the name you want to go by on here, your email, and a few other things. I don't care what you register your log in name as, but as soon as you have made your character, you need to change it to your character's name.
How you accually finalize your character so we all have an idea about who you are, you need to go to Entering Einmana next, then go to Joining Form to pick up the code for the form.

You can post it Incomplete forms or Complete Form And create a new thread to post the code depending on how long you think it will take you to fill it out or when you wish to be accepted.

In all the spots that say YOUR TEXT HERE, just follow what it says then say post. I'll do the rest.

Ok, so you picked the wolf character. If you haven't read the wolf 101 page, then now is a good time to do it. It just gives a better look into the lives of the average wolf living in Einmana.

Now if you haven't filled in some of the spots on your entry form, that is ok. the main thing that I need to place you is a name, breed_{(wolf or spider)}, gender, personality, and look. As soon as that is finished up i will give you the rank of a Lone Wolf.
You can now roleplay!!!

I know, amazing right? xD Well every character is a little different so here are a few options of how you can start out in your new wolfish life.

1) Create a pack in the Mittismál Capital in one of the sub boards.
All you have to do is write and in-character post about your wolf claiming one of the subtopic lands as his or her own, and magically it will be done. ;3
Step two to that would to be just fill out the little form I have in the Character Update Forms and Requests and post that in the Character Updates area. See simple.



2)Find a pack by entering their territory in Mittismál Capital, or post in Forlorn Thicket and have a random pack claim you.
So if you don't have the eye for leadership, you can always write an in-character post asking to join a current pack in their lands, or if you have no idea where you belong, then you can go to forlorn thicket to just have an alpha or alpha's chosen come and requite you to join their pack. If you go to forlorn thicket, then you have no choice but to go with the pack that wants you, and you have to stay with them until another pack or lone wolf fights for your freedom, the alpha releases you, or you manage sucessfully *escape with in a two day time limit back to forlorn thicket.
_{*meaning, if they respond in character to your escape post, then you have to stay in their pack, but if the two days pass then you are free to go looking for a new home.}


3)Remain a lone wolf for up to two weeks in the undefined lands and risk capture by spiders because of weakness
Yah, that one pretty much explains itself.

Now thats pretty much it, you have your character, a few options to start out, now go and get posting already. I'm sure that someone will happily come and join you.

Ok, so you picked to play a spider character. Thats cool, but now you really should go and read the spider 101 page if you haven't already. This has some very important information about spiders, such as how they are aged. Its rather hard to understand at first, but as soon as you figure out how old you want your character to appear, then you can figure out how "old" they are in in-game years.

Now if you haven't filled in some of the spots on your entry form, that is ok. The main thing that I need to place you is a name, breed _{(in this case spider)}, gender, personality, and looks. As soon as that is finished up i will give you the rank of a arachnid, and a sub title that describes what your character does, for example: court florist, head chief at La Amore restaurant in central, librarian, ect.

Well now you can roleplay, and you will also notice when you log in, a whole new area called spiderwebs shows up for you. Now wolves can't post there just like you can't post in their lands, so feel free to talk behind their backs with out worry.


Unlike with wolves, spiders don't need to join any pack- they are more like a human like in their lifestyles. So the best you can do is just make up an introduction in any of the spider areas and see if anyone comes to play, or you can join in someone else's thread as long as it doesn't say *private* in the title or in their first post.

Now it just depends on who you are and what you want to do, but some fun ideas might be to try and work out the following.

• plot a hostile take over (always a personal favorite)
  
• post in character and work on getting a higher rank
  
• Create in character relationships- perhaps to the point of webmates, and ask the queen to make your relationship valid
  
• Create a angry mob and go and raid on the wolf areas
  

Well, have fun! Don't be afraid to join in or make your own thread, the first post is always the scariest, but it usually leads to something really great when others jump in.
