Eons ago, the world was basked in light and health. Humans lived in a mutual understanding of their wild brothers the were-creatures. Yet some of the humans were not so kind as they let on to their nation. They set out to make a weapon to kill the were-beasts for they were jealous of their innate powers. They succeeded in a weapon over time, yet it had fallen into the hands of a madman who in the end had cursed the human race with his greed for the power of the were creatures. They were imbedded with the traits of spiders... silk, grace, and venom. No longer a normal human alive these arachnid humanoids were enchanting beyond belief and all hungered for a feast- finding it in the animals and beasts they enchanted with their beautiful faces and crystal voices. The other were-creatures had fallen into the spider's webs, even the wolves were no exception. However, being pack based they realized the losses before the solitary animals had and became untrusting of the beautiful hunters. They disappeared into their secret places to band together and find ways to combat the glorious foes- the strength coming from their numbers and their forgotten were-powers. No, on their own the arachnids were far greater in strength but as a unit the pack could force the spiders back into their old cities and reclaim the wild for the wolves. Now the packs must decide if they want to hold the spiders back and never venture out of their boarders, or become the spear head for a retaliation and destroy the spider nest and never deal with the monstrosities again. And that my friend is where you come in...
For it was always the fate of individuals to change the world...

For better.
Or worse.

:x: RESPECT ALL PLAYERS;
I expect that if you have an argument with a certain person on the boards that you will both handle things calmly and with out insults, if you are unable to do so and it because harassment, then you both will have one warning, then if it continues you will be banned for a week, if it continues the warning and banning will continue, but after 7 times you will be blocked from the game.

:x: LISTEN TO THE STAFF;
Sometimes you wont agree with what we are saying, thats ok. It just that i want an explanation on what you think we are doing wrong, not just a bunch of insults and mindless arguing. If you can give us reasons to why we are unjust then depending on the situation we will go with a better solution.

:x: USE GRAMMAR & SPELLING TO THE BEST OF YOUR ABILITIES;
Proboards has a special button for spell check so its not hard to get most of the little words. Its just important so we understand what you are writing. Speech is free game though: because normal people almost always say things their own way.

:x: THIEVES OF ANY KIND WILL NOT FIND SHELTER HERE;
Art, writing, poem, photography, drawing, anything that you did not do your self and took with out permission from someone else is stealing. If anyone Steals from another player or takes a finished picture from another site all together, they will have one warning to take it down, and if they are caught stealing again they will be blocked from this site and their name will be put on a black list.

:x: ONE ACCOUNT PER CHARACTER;
Some places let you have as many characters on one account as you want, but the policy here is that one character per account. This saves me and others from confusion when "sally" is not normal "sally"... but Joe has inhabited her body! O NOES! 8O yes... just don't do it.

:x: YOUR CHARACTER NAME HAS TO BE YOUR ACCOUNT NAME;
This rule goes along with the one character per account. We don't need to see your on line alias, but your characters name when you post.

:x: PUTTING A STOP TO ULTIMATE POWER;
No- You can not control other peoples character.
No- You can not destroy everyone by batting your eyelash.
No- You can not always hit other people when fighting.
No- You can not Kill other character with out special privileges such as a permission by the other player.
Just a warning will be given, and for 10 repeated accounts, a possible 1 week banning will be issued or in character punishment.

:x: 1st, 2nd, OR 3rd PERSON?;
When writing our your posts please be sure to write in 3rd person.
ie:The wind whipped the colossus titian as he surveyed his dominion. His steely eyes were locked onto the large cat as it made its way down to the main band. His ears pined down to his neck as he raced down with a mighty war cry to defend his harem from the sharp toothed adversary.
Basically no "I"s unless you are thinking, or speaking. everything is described from a different point of view.

:x: KEN AND BARBIE NOT WELCOME.;
Be reasonable, if you have to be absolutely drop dead wonderful, then you better have some character flaws. (unless you are a spider... they are hawtness in the extreme) I don't really have any problems with beautiful character, it only bothers me when ever single wolf is black, skinny, beautiful, powerful, and perfect with no flaws or fears or anything that may make them un appealing to the opposite sex. that just gets on my nerves and if your character is like that then it probably won't be accepted. sorry.

:x: BAD LUCK CAN STRIKE FROM ANY DIRECTION;
Wild or no, sometimes bad things happen to people when they don't deserve it. Like rape for example- However ugly the word is it happens. Should you have a clinically insane wolf sneak over to another packs territory and rape one of their females then so be it. but to keep it from happening too often whether the would-be raper gets his chance is from a coin flip. they just have to say heads or tales, then the first staff member to see this will post the outcome and they have to play it out.

:x: NO TRESPASSING!;
Spiders eat wolves... wolves kill spiders. I don't think that the spiders would appreciate the wolves coming in and spreading their fleas over the city. you might just start up a free for all battle royal if one tried. And each side has hidden areas where the other side may not trespass.

:x: R-A-G M-O-P! RAG MOP-A-BOO-BOP;
have you read the rules? Maybe? Not sure? Well... You probably should. Its got some vital info about the growth rate of the spiders and the wolves... also about lots of things that you may need to know in the future. So you better be sure.

:x: OFFSPRING GENERATOR;
If your character decides to have offspring and your writing the birthing post. You don't decide what your pups look like or even if they live. Just post, then in ooc write the name of both parents. then in the next post, i'll randomly generate (mixing up the parents looks and powers) about the offspring. you may post how many children you hope to have and what you wish they would look like, but it will be something random according to power genetics and coin flips. :D then you may either put the up for "character adoption" or play them yourself.

:x: RATING YOUR WRITING;
Well, in all honesty most people have different levels of maturity and how much they are willing to write. I respect that, and ask that you respect other peoples as well. Should you and another person's character get into a serious relationship and decide that they want children all I ask is that you put a *mature content* in the title or some sort of movie rating from M-R. i don't want XXX rating. I see that, I ban you. Another scenario you have to think about is how far does the other person want to go. Ask them, if neither of you feel comfortable, you can just put simplified stats of your characters in a post then i'll come over and go all harvest moon with magic potion your character into being pregnant.


Now that wasn't so hard was it?
Since you finished reading these rules why don't you go and join if you like, don't forget "The code word is the title of the rule that told you about reading the rules" to check out the guidelines while your out.
